Dominica; you are obsessed with journey's ample reach
    With all the lessons journey's hope to teach.
    Leaving leaves behind the pleasant known;
    We often fear the new alone,
    But besides our travel's grand delights
    Our journeys favor us with fresh insights.
    Worlds exist beyond us if we dare
    And the adventure lurks between the here and there.
    No matter which continent you've gained
    You prefer a voice that's soft, retrained
    And prove a whisper more of worth
    Than all the shouting here on earth.
    You look for the small, intimate places
    And seek all nature's tender traces.
    You dare to search and write your book
    Where others might not think to look.
